Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test solutions across web, API, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools, along with good programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript. Experience in the banking/financial services domain will be an added advantage.
Detailed Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks. Develop automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications. Create reusable automation components using appropriate design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM). Execute automated test suites and analyze test results. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures and application defects. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. Maintain automation scripts and continuously improve framework stability and execution efficiency. Perform regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing. Contribute to automation strategy, framework improvements, coding standards, and best practices.
Responsibilities & Scope
API Automation: Hands-on experience in API testing and automation, including: Experience with tools/frameworks such as: REST Assured Playwright API Postman/Newman Mobile Automation: Hands-on experience in mobile application automation is required.
