Detailed Job Description

Strong experience (15+ years) in mainframe application development with proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, IMS, ReXX, EZT etc Exposure to hybrid architecture with both mainframe and distributed applications Exposure to any performance tuning activities in Mainframe like API integration, monolith code componentization, SMF log analysis, Database fine-tuning etc Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices and working knowledge in DevOps (CI/CD) Experience with version control systems and software configuration management tools Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools for mainframe applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutions Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
